I'm Jonathan, the creator of SF IRL. I've been a Bay Area resident all my life and moved into San Francisco about 3 years ago. My full-time job is at Brex as an XIR where I meet founders and VCs while trying to create a community in the city. My vision for SF IRL is simple. Showcase the best tech + startup events in SF and to connect all of our builders and investors together. We are a growing community having over 8000+ subscribers. What: We host weekly runs in San Francisco and 20 other locations worldwide for founders, their friends and families, investors, creators, tech professionals, and anyone interested. This time, we're excited to be part of TechCrunch Disrupt!
Typically, we offer two distances: 5K and 10K, with two pace groups. The 5K group runs at around a 10:30 min/mile pace, while the 10K group runs at a 9:30 min/mile pace. We recommend choosing the group where you’ll feel comfortable chatting and covering the distance with ease. The focus is on community and connection, not pushing yourself too hard.
